Jane Bianchi is a freelance writer for magazines and websites. Her articles have appeared in 20 publications, including More, Woman’s Day, Esquire, Dr. Oz’s The Good Life and Scholastic magazines. Prior to freelancing, she worked at national magazines in New York City. She was the senior news editor at Seventeen, the associate health editor at Family Circle, the assistant editor at Good Housekeeping and a reporter at Glamour. She has a B.A. in English from Wake Forest University and is a graduate of the Columbia Publishing Course. She lives with her husband and daughter in Tampa, Florida. Jane is Skirting the Rules by leaving the corporate world to pursue her own path as a self-employed freelance writer. She says she has never been happier. The lack of a commute, coupled with the flexibility that she now has, has given her the work/life balance that she needed.
